it's comforting to talk to an old friend and realise that u still care for each other despite the rare times u get to meet and catch up on every aspect of ur lives.

was great chatting with dil last nite, complaining and listening, sharing our views. it felt good to know i can be there for u. (: i have ur 把柄! better treat me well.. tsktsk.. :P

i hate it when ur insensitive to ppl's feelings, when u speak without thinking how it may hurt. i hate it when ur adamant about ur own views and dun care abt how others think. u weren't there when i needed e most comfort. and as time passes, drifting apart seemed to be the only way out. it took time to acknowledge the facts, it hurt to let go, but the good times are over.

monday june 4th
.beginner's cartooning: learn to draw sea creatures, beach & underwater scenes, tropical islands & animals.

.the famous royal ceremony: the king, queen n the royal family will be selected today voted in by the children.
.reverse garbage: this is a kids dream come true! imagine a pile of craft material dumped in the middle of the room for the children to create their own masterpieces.
.3D landscapes: draw in 3D n make a landscape come alive.

thursday june 7th
.japanese manga art: this is a specialised art form. draw detailed faces n make an image come alive!
.paddle pop construction: stack the paddle pops to see who can make the tallest towers. create anything u like.
.jewellery: create with beads. we will provide costume jewellery for the children to make into necklaces, bracelets, hair pieces n anklets.
.sponge bob square pants: draw all ur fave characters!
.futurama: draw the cartoons from this popular show.

friday june 8th
.chocolate appreciation: sample chocolates from all over the world - YUM!
.pokemon: if u love pokemon, then this is for u. we'll draw several of the characters from the japanese cartoons. bring your old cards to swap.
.free pizza & party food day: eat, eat n eat!
.shrek: learn to draw this funny character.
.waterfights: fun action packed water games - don't forget ur water guns!
.slave auctions: buy on of the councillors as ur personal slave with ur hard earned cartoon kingdom money.
.market & party day: this is the highlight of our program! the king n queen of the kingdom will open market day with a royal ceremony. the room will be set up with stalls n children should bring their old pre-loved stuff to camp. they can also make cakes, sell drinks, do face-painting, etc. we will give $100 cartoon kingdom money to spend at camp. we'll enjoy party food n have a special closing ceremony to conclude the activities for the camp. pls bring a light lunch today.

there are also special night camps where e kids will learn how to draw the simpsons, advanced manga n star wars! woots! not forgetting ghost-stories telling, playing 'murder in e dark', choco games, marshmellow eating competitions n sock wrestling.. WOW~

so excited to go for the camp! immersing myself in the spirit of innocence and cheeriness. back to the childhood days! yayness! ;D

event helping at grand copthorne hotel was fun! (: glad that everyone was quite easy-going n could get along. many undergrads too, mostly same age ppl la. felt like i was mixing around with a new class. haha. many 'loners' like me around, so we all jus gathered around n talked. also have common friends with many of them who were mostly in nus. too bad wun see them in sch. ): there was a girl called daffodil. such a sweet name. haha. n a super smart girl from rgs/rjc, 4As n A1, gg to columbia to study lit. gifted! an ahbeng-looking guy who was qt funny n drama, esp when someone who had e same name as him was called out to collect prize for lucky draw. haha. many ppl looked familiar n most have english names. maybe it's time to get myself one since nobody much remembers my name e first time round. haha.

22nd may night: packed goodie bags like factory workers, everyone filling the bag with an item or two. haha. had spicy mee goreng n bland fried rice. sad. briefing lasted till 11.45pm so the company sponsored our cab fares home. lucky us! (: slept at 1+am n had to get up at 5+am.. seh~

23rd may: started work at 7am, braindead. was stoning many times. we were provided with a nice black dri-fit tee saying 'EVENT CREW'. quite pro. haha. was stationed at e reception booth registering the delegates streaming in, was pretty hectic. did other things like guarding doors n ushering ppl n eating! haha.. e food list goes:

11+ tea break: brownie, strawberry cake, grainy cake, muffin, sandwiches, siew mai! (:
12+ lunch: pasta, fried rice, lemon tarts, coffee cake..
2+ tea break: potato puffs, more strawberry muffins!

feels like a 'free buffet'. haha. actually e food was meant for e participants attending e event, but e company was very nice n let us eat all we wanted. very lenient with us too. hope they'll call us up for more events! (: time to shed those inches gained off my waistline.. but e food was definitely satisfying n e new friendships forged 温馨. heh.. hope we'll get to work tog again next time! legs almost broke after wearing heels the whole day. was tired but happy. (:

looking fwd to sat out with haubi.. we've got lots to catch up! (:

i miss spending time out with ssy n kby. seems long since we've all jalan-ed n did things tog.

i miss my bro.. he's away for camp. but he'll be back tmr la. haha.

i miss my sis.. miss shopping with her n wished she was here to talk n share all our favourite things. bread n cereals take so much longer to finish cus nobody else eats them. 31st july is not that far away, right?

i couldn't resist my itch to bake something.. so i went to buy the ingredients for tiramisu. so now, it's freezing in my fridge n i wonder how an amateur's work will taste like! hahaha. since i substituted espresso with cappucino, coffee liquer with rum, mascarpone cheese with cream cheese, it may taste weird after all. haha.. topped the layer with choco chips instead of cocoa powder.. makes it sweeter cus e taste of rum is pretty strong.

stephie's birthday celebration at her place last night was great! high turnout with savoury food n our self-made chocolate fondue. with our rare guests/VIP lixin n juliana! haha.. it was heartwarming just to sit around n share stories, listen to them talk, laugh over e old times, n it's amazing how our friendship has lasted thru these years. im glad that everyone takes time out to meet up on birthdays no matter how busy, to catch up with each other. it's bliss to have this bunch of special people with me. (:

jus finished a suspense novel, Night Stalker by Donna Anders.. a sudden telephone call made me jump when reading! haha.. not a bad read for those who have time to spare, timidity aside. n maybe not for those with a weak heart. haha.

finally blogger's working for me again!

it's the days of applying for jobs, going for interviews, waiting for replies. torturous.. the initial enthusiasm to challenge myself at new workplaces n to learn new things is wearing off.. also getting a bit tired of constantly reminding myself to be positive n to think on the bright side. im praying for a miracle~.. do they happen?

worked as a 1-day receptionist at ibp on monday, felt out of touch with working but things fell into place soon after. there were ppl with unique names like janjan n zorro. v cute. zorro sounds like some power ranger. haha.. lunched alone which was lonely. =( met two vv gentlemanly, taller-than-me-by-two-heads angmohs when i was gg home. they insisted to let me enter n get out of the lift b4 they did. ladies first. v sweet gesture. =)

had macs breakfast with by n sy on tue. jay's concert was playin on e video when by went to trim her hair. so happy to see him. =) went imm then met stephie for lunch. there was a qt cute surveyor at je. too bad he's short. haha.. lookin fwd to salad bar, bbq steamboat n choco fondue on sat! (: its fun to shop for groceries n cook.. haha..

went for an interview ytd. underperformed n guess i wun get e job. met yiteng aft that n had a super full meal at botak jones. their cajun chicken is yummy! covered with melted mozarella cheese. hee. with extra large serving of spicy fries n coleslaw. hope we can meet up again soon! =)

sis called home last nite. (: n big sis is home aft her cruise to penang/phuket. bot chocs back. yay. i can get fat!

will be gg for a 2hr bridal bouquet floral design course tmr. finally clearing sth off my to-do list! happy~ thx sy for comin with me! (: hope i'll be able to work as a florist in future. haha.. will be workin a 1.5 day assignment as corporate event helper at grand copthorne hotel nx week. cool! hope it'll be a great experience n there'll be nice ppl ard. (:

okay.. back from airport not long ago.. saw angela n cai qin. wearing the typical huge shades with their bodyguards. they're flying back to taipei aft the charity show. hahas.

sis should be on the plane now.. part of me wish i was the one leaving. really wanna step out of sg to experience a different kind of life. tried hard to hold back my tears when she entered the gates, something which i always suck at doing. but they fell when mom n me took the shuttle bus back to T2. got chided that i was dumb to cry, that she's going there to have fun... but yar.. 舍不得啦. gonna be long b4 i'll see her again... :( had steamboat for farewell dinner on sunday. was cool. hid a present under her pillow last night n some photos n card in her file.. hope she liked the 'treasure hunt'.. haha.. fren's sis in grand canyon saw SNOW! so lucky! i also wan....

one of the victims of the fire explosion at exxonmobil is my pri sch fren's dad. i cant imagine the heartwrenching pain to lose your loved one overnight. the sudden nightmare in your life. when you wont ever have the chance to see him again and be by his side when he leaves this world. i feel so sad for him n his family. he was my neighbour and brought me homework when i was ill in pri 2? yar.. deepest condolences.. life is so fragile. you never know what will happen. do cherish your loved ones!!

2nd may 07
i left the exam hall early since it was just a pass/fail mod. it felt qt shiok! haha.. spent the rest of the day out with the girls. kbox was lotsa fun n i enjoyed the encore part of JAY's songs! heh. v high! looloo's fave is QING REN. should have video-ed it down n uploaded to youtube! hahaha. then we went for a drink at eskibar n jeremy was hell late! ggrrrrrr... saw teresa while waitin for him.. haha.. the ice box was cool! damn cold but we could blow out mist. haha. then chit-chatted n gossiped at coffee bean over dessert. good day to end the exams n welcome e hols! caught spiderman 3 with the girls again. it was exciting n qt touching at the end. thou practically speaking, the good will always triumph the evil in shows. haha. next time i'll bring more tissue for looloo so her shirt collar will not get wet. n eye-mo so her eyes will not be too dry. yea? haha.. anyway tobey maguire looks qt like mr. bean. toot toot one. haha. qt funny.

i finally had the guts to do what i had thought about for qt some time. happy n accomplished! (:

4th may 07
went imm n jp with sis to buy her swimsuit n other travellin stuff. saw pretty bikinis! i'd dare to wear if i had fats at the correct places. haha. n why do bikinis cost so much when they have less material than a swimsuit??? swimming trunks are expensive too for so little cloth! anyway, used retail therapy to make myself happier. n i think i have a fetish for bras thou trying them is a real chore. am in the mood to splurge thou my bank acct is dipping. will turn into a workaholic real soon to make up for being such a spendthrift.. :X

gonna celebrate clarice's bday later. yay! more retail therapy, catching up n photo-taking! :D im gonna see ssy AGAIN! arrrrggh!

math paper was hell tough. plus the usually composed me was feeling jittery. damn. the amount of practice didn't better my performance during the paper. feel really gek. what else can i pray for but moderation? i hope everyone else made silly careless mistakes too. hahaha.

gab really brought us food on the third day of his 'lib visit'. lol! so touched! strawberry pocky n hello panda n those yupi sweets. haha. he got us strawberry instead of choc cus it's pink in color. lol..
