event helping at grand copthorne hotel was fun! (: glad that everyone was quite easy-going n could get along. many undergrads too, mostly same age ppl la. felt like i was mixing around with a new class. haha. many 'loners' like me around, so we all jus gathered around n talked. also have common friends with many of them who were mostly in nus. too bad wun see them in sch. ): there was a girl called daffodil. such a sweet name. haha. n a super smart girl from rgs/rjc, 4As n A1, gg to columbia to study lit. gifted! an ahbeng-looking guy who was qt funny n drama, esp when someone who had e same name as him was called out to collect prize for lucky draw. haha. many ppl looked familiar n most have english names. maybe it's time to get myself one since nobody much remembers my name e first time round. haha.
22nd may night: packed goodie bags like factory workers, everyone filling the bag with an item or two. haha. had spicy mee goreng n bland fried rice. sad. briefing lasted till 11.45pm so the company sponsored our cab fares home. lucky us! (: slept at 1+am n had to get up at 5+am.. seh~
23rd may: started work at 7am, braindead. was stoning many times. we were provided with a nice black dri-fit tee saying 'EVENT CREW'. quite pro. haha. was stationed at e reception booth registering the delegates streaming in, was pretty hectic. did other things like guarding doors n ushering ppl n eating! haha.. e food list goes:
11+ tea break: brownie, strawberry cake, grainy cake, muffin, sandwiches, siew mai! (:
12+ lunch: pasta, fried rice, lemon tarts, coffee cake..
2+ tea break: potato puffs, more strawberry muffins!
feels like a 'free buffet'. haha. actually e food was meant for e participants attending e event, but e company was very nice n let us eat all we wanted. very lenient with us too. hope they'll call us up for more events! (: time to shed those inches gained off my waistline.. but e food was definitely satisfying n e new friendships forged 温馨. heh.. hope we'll get to work tog again next time! legs almost broke after wearing heels the whole day. was tired but happy. (:

i miss spending time out with ssy n kby. seems long since we've all jalan-ed n did things tog.
i miss my bro.. he's away for camp. but he'll be back tmr la. haha.
i miss my sis.. miss shopping with her n wished she was here to talk n share all our favourite things. bread n cereals take so much longer to finish cus nobody else eats them. 31st july is not that far away, right?
