im back! so many thoughts and emotions, but can't find the right words to tell them all.
31st may - 3rd june: worked at pc show as dopod phone promoter. met with some unpleasantries but i guess some things can't be helped. stood everyday from 12-9, suffered from backaches n hoarse voice n had to see ppl's black faces. it's not easy working in e sales line with ppl fighting for ur customers, cutting ur sales. honesty n integrity are deemed worthless. it so goes against my principles n morals to lie to earn sales. cabbed to meeting on sunday, wasted 20bucks n still no luck in sales. so sian diao. was jus glad when it was all over. super shagged. happy to see zirong who came to look for me despite e crowd. saw winghong n rende too who asked abt e rest. 4th-8th june: had e best week of my life at cartoon kingdom camp. woke up at 5.30 everyday to start work at 7+. totally seh. i miss my kids n their innocence, e silly things they do, my fellow councillors, e super fun watergun fights, splashing each other, getting wet inside out, drawing cartoons, playing games.. thou our energy was drained day by day, e kids made it all worthwhile. 350 kids can be a real handful! but no regrets. (: made new friends n had lotsa fun tog, pia-ing e camp, sharing jokes n laughing e hell out. it's amazing to see how e guys are really good with kids! i hope we'll get to work tog again, possibly our own camp, then we can stay overnight n hang out!! (: had dinner with some of them at sumo house at amk on fri. e food kinda sucks. haha. really nice to know n meet new ppl, widened my social circle. it was interestin to sit there n listen to them yakkin away. imitating 'mustafa' was damn funny. hahaha. now i see kids n my heart brims with warmth n love. super nostalgic abt e camp.. :( hope we can organise an outing soon!wanted to play matchmaker, but aiya, too bad.... joanne was damn blur, deposited $2 n $5 notes into bank, e rest still thought they paid us counterfeit money.. hahaha.. glad to hav e west side ppl going home w me. else way home wouldn't be as interesting. =)
chatted with yt last nite for 2.5 hrs! was great catching up n laughin like mad. meet up soon for dimsum! (: then met baoyue today n shared my joy n excitement w her! yea.. we're both happy girls.. :D met li lao shi n lixin at je.. so nice to see them!met a fellow event helper at bugis n she's wee ngee's god sis! hahaha.. how small the world is..
